Dean Li, MD, PhD, is an associate professor in the Departments of Medicine and Oncological Sciences at the University of Utah and a member of the Cell Response and Regulation Program.
Li researches angiogenesis, a normal process of growing new blood vessels to feed and nurture cells. By stopping angiogenesis within tumors, their growth could possibly be stopped.
Li received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Chicago and an MD and PhD from Washington University in St. Louis.
