Lynn Million-Smith, MD

Associate Professor, Radiation Oncology

Lynn Million – Smith, MD, is an associate professor of radiation oncology and a physician at Huntsman Cancer Institute. Smith’s clinical specialty is in pediatric tumors, non- Hodgkin’s and Hodgkin’s lymphomas, and head and neck tumors.

At Huntsman Cancer Institute, Smith works closely with the sarcoma team and focuses on translational research in Ewing’s sarcoma and rhabdomyosarcoma, a cancer of the muscle that primarily affects children under age 5. She is involved with the Children’s Oncology Group (COG) and was a member of the Intergroup Rabdomyosarcoma Study Group (IRSG).

Smith received her medical degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville followed by a residency in radiation oncology and a fellowship in cancer bioresearch, both at Stanford University Medical Center.
