Huntsman Cancer Institute's clinics and departments were created to research, identify, diagnose and treat different types of cancer. Our care programs bring together surgeons, radiologists and other cancer specialists under one roof, so patients don't have to go from one clinic to another for treatment.

This section includes information on each of our clinics and departments, including the types of cancer treated and the specialists affiliated with that specific cancer area.

Brain, Spine, and Skull Base Cancer Program

Our team of experts offers advanced treatments for adults with tumors in the brain, spinal cord, and skull. Comprehensive clinical care is provided using state-of-the art neurosurgical techniques, radiation, and chemotherapy in the overall management of disease.

Breast Cancer Program

Huntsman Cancer Institute's Breast Cancer Program offers comprehensive services for people who have been diagnosed with breast cancer and other breast conditions, or those concerned about their risk of developing the disease based on strong family history.

Center for Children

Huntsman Cancer Institute's Center for Children and Primary Children's Medical Center work together to provide young patients with the best resources.

Facial Prosthetics

Facial Prosthetics offers solutions for patients who were born without certain facial features, or patients who have lost facial features due to disease or injury.

Family Cancer Assessment Clinic

Serves individuals who have concerns about their risk of developing cancer based on family history.

Gastrointestinal Cancer Program

The Huntsman Cancer Institute's Gastrointestinal Center diagnoses and treats all cancers of the digestive system.

Gynecological Cancer Program

Huntsman Cancer Institute's Gynecology Oncology program diagnoses and treats all cancers of the female reproductive tract, including ovarian, endometrial/ uterine, cervical, vaginal, and vulvar cancers

Head and Neck Cancer Program

Huntsman Cancer Institute's Head and Neck Cancer Program diagnoses and treats all cancer of the oral cavity, lip, nasal cavity, nasopharynx, oropharynx, hypopharynx larynx and salivary gland.

Hematology Program

Our team of experts diagnose and treat cancers of the blood, bone marrow, and lymph nodes, including lymphomas and leukemias.

Internal Medicine Acute Care Clinic

Huntsman Cancer Institute's Internal Medicine Acute Care (IMAC) Clinic offers same-day services to current patients who are experiencing an acute problem.

Melanoma Cancer Program

HCI's Melanoma Program brings together all of the specialists involved in patient care and research to help provide skin cancer patients with the highest level of care.

Myeloma Program

Myeloma, also called multiple myeloma because myeloma cells usually cluster in multiple sites of the body, is cancer of the plasma cells, which are a type of white blood cell. Plasma cells are an important part of the immune system because they produce antibodies (also called immunoglobulins, which consist of a light chain and a heavy chain) that help people fight infection.

Nutrition Care Services

For inpatients at Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI), a registered dietitian monitors nutrition needs.

Pain Medicine & Palliative Care

Experts provide services focused on enhancing quality of life.

Pharmacy

Pharmacists at Huntsman Cancer Institute are an important part of the team approach to cancer treatment.

Radiation Oncology

Radiation Oncology offers comprehensive state-of-the-art radiation oncology care under the direction of doctors and other specialists.

As part of your multidisciplinary treatment team including physicians, nurses, and other health care professionals, your Patient & Family Support Professional becomes familiar with your treatment plan.

Thoracic Cancer Program

Our team of experts treat patients with tumors of the lungs, chest wall, trachea, esophagus, medastium, and heart.

Urologic Oncology Program

Our team of experts diagnose and treat all cancers of the urinary system, including bladder, prostate, kidney, testicular, ureter, urethra, and penile cancers.

Wellness Center

The Huntsman Cancer Institute Wellness Center promotes physical and emotional well-being and a sense of balance for people diagnosed with cancer and for their loved ones.
