A. Jennifer Fischbach, MD

Adjunct Assistant Professor

Jennifer Fischbach, MD, is an investigator at Huntsman Cancer Institute and a radiation oncologist for the Intermountain Healthcare Physicians Division. She provides radiation oncology services in the Urban Central Region of Intermountain Healthcare and at Utah Cancer Specialists. Her primary interests are in breast cancer diagnosis, treatment, and management as well as clinical trial participation in all areas of oncology. She teaches in the University of Utah radiation oncology residency program.

She has practiced radiation oncology for 25 years, first in Ogden, Utah, and later in Salt Lake City. She has served as member and chairperson of the LDS Hospital and Utah Cancer Registry (UCR) Institutional Review Board. She is currently a member of the UCR Ethics Committee and Continuing Education Committee. She has also held a leadership position as secretary-treasurer of the medical staff at LDS Hospital for many years and will serve in the same position at the new Intermountain Medical Center in Salt Lake City.

Fischbach received her medical degree from the University of Utah. She completed an internal medicine internship and residency in radiation oncology at LDS Hospital. She is board certified in radiation oncology.
