Chris Hanrahan, MD, PhD

Assistant Professor, Department of Radiology

Christopher Hanrahan, MD, PhD, is an assistant professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of Utah and a member of the Imaging, Diagnostics, and Therapeutics Program.

Hanrahan studies imaging, diagnostics, and therapeutics. He is particularly interested in molecular imaging for musculoskeletal disease, including myeloma and sarcoma. He hopes to study the potential use of flurodexoythymidine (FLT) positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) imaging in the evaluation of myeloma.

Hanrahan received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut as well as MD and PhD degrees from the University of Connecticut Medical School.
